How it works

From their name to your inbox

About two minutes on the order form. Then the film is made for your child and emailed to you: usually ready in about 15 minutes, always within 24 hours.

An elf brings Santa a letter in his sleigh

Your part

Three steps, two minutes

Nothing is paid until you’ve heard the name and read every line. Your answers are saved in the tab if you need to pop away.

Their name, and how to say it

Type their first name and press “Hear Santa say it”. If it sounds wrong, write how it sounds (Neev for Niamh) and listen again. The written name always keeps your spelling.

What you’re proud of

One thing you’re proud of, and a second if you like. Add a photo if you want one in the elf’s golden frame: you slide it into place yourself, and only that cropped picture is uploaded.

Tick the bedtime goodbye if they’ll watch before Christmas Eve.

Read Santa’s words, then pay

We draft Santa’s two personal lines from what you told us. You see the whole script, change his two lines if you like, and pay $13.99 once.

Our part

What happens after you pay

No one has to press a button: each step checks the last before it starts. If a check fails, the film is held, we tell you it’s on its way, and a person looks at it.

  1. Santa’s voice

His personal lines are spoken in the film’s Santa voice, with your pronunciation. Every word is transcribed and checked, including the name.

  2. His lips move

The three close-ups where Santa talks to your child (hello, the reading and goodbye) are lip-synced to those lines.

  3. The name is drawn in

In gold in the Nice List, on the gift tag or with your photo in the frame, and on the end card. Then music, sound and the joins between scenes.

  4. Checked and sent

Every spoken word of the finished film is matched to the script you approved, then we email your private link.

A few details

More on the questions page.

How quickly will it arrive?

Usually ready in about 15 minutes, always within 24 hours. We email you the private link as soon as it’s ready, and your order page shows how it’s coming along.

Do I need a photo?

No. A photo is optional. If you add one, an elf holds it up in a golden frame and Santa says, “And look, there’s a picture of you!” Without one, the elf holds up a present with a gift tag that says “For” and their name.

What happens to the photo?

You place it in the frame yourself on the order form, and only that cropped picture is uploaded. It’s checked for safety, never altered, used only in your film, and deleted after delivery. See for parents.

What is the bedtime ending?

A tick box on the order form. Santa’s last line becomes “Sleep tight on Christmas Eve” with their name. Only tick it if they’ll watch before Christmas Eve; otherwise Santa says goodbye and heads off with Rudolph.

Ready?
